How to use the Champ Fender Mender Tool
- Jack up the car using jack stands as support
- Remove wheel from the car
- Fix Fender Mender to hub over lug bolts
- Install spacers and make the lug nuts tight enough to hold Fender Mender to hub
- Let the arm adjustment knob loose and maneuver the arm to a favorable position
- Let the adjustment bolt on the roller head loose and maneuver to a favorable angle
- Adjust the tension bar to put required pressure on the fender
- Ideally, the paint must be gently warmed with a heat gun to make sure the paint does not crack
- Roll the Fender Mender for desired fender expansion
- You may need to readjust angle head and tension for achieving the desired results
