With combined features of traditional polyester and urethane primers, this product facilitates easy sanding, smooth spraying and faster drying time for sanding. With less texture and easy spray, this primer surface works exceptionally well for spot repairs.

Evercoat Feather Fill G2 Polyester Primer Surfacer is designed specifically to work with 1K and 2K etch primers that show optimum results on repairs over smc, fiberglass, and other substrates. Evercoat Feather Fill works well to straighten panels and imperfections. It is also used to correct minor hail damage. This primer surfacer is compliant with California and National Rule VOC regulations.
How To Prepare For Repair - Clean the surface with wax and grease remover. In case of fiberglass, use acetone to clean away the fibers
- Use a 320 grit sandpaper to Featheredge around into the clear coat
- Use compressed air or alcohol wipe to clean the area of excess dust
How to Use - Use a self-etch or epoxy primer on bare metals that are larger than 1" to prevent corrosion
- Stir the primer and catalyst in a mixing cup
- Mix the two in the ratio of 4:1
- The mix now has a work life of about 70 min @ 75°F or 24°C
- Spray using gravity feed spray gun which has 1.5-2.0 fluid tip and continue to spray for two to three wet coats over repair
- Start sanding with 220 grit sandpaper after 60-90 minutes and finish it off with 320-400 grit sandpaper
